Kama Ayurveda uses authentic, intricately balanced Ayurvedic formulations without harmful chemicals like Sulphates, Parabens, Artificial Fragrances,GMOs, Petrochemicals/ Mineral Oil etc. Our products are clean, ensuring they are kinder to your skin than products with harmful ingredients. We prioritise long-term efficacy and wellness over short-term temporary results that can harm the skin. We have received multiple certifications recognising our care for the environment, including the Cosmos Organic label.
We work with Prabhat, an NGO dedicated to the educational and vocational empowerment of differently-abled children and young adults. Every year Kama Ayurveda partners with Prabhat to promote a skin-safe Holi (the Indian festival of colours) by supporting their Avacayam (Sanskrit for flower gathering) programme. The programme produces 100% natural, chemical-free colours by recycling unused and discarded temple flowers. The flowers are collected by differently-abled individuals, and processed and packaged by hand. This reflects all 3 aspects of Kama’s goal to be kind – the colours are kind to skin and 100% natural, the initiative is kind to the planet through the recycling and reusing of the flowers, and we support Prabhat’s initiatives of being kind to differently-abled people.
Our excess product inventory at the end of each year is gifted to the many charitable organisations, to name a few like the Ila Trust, Goonj, Father Agnel Bal-bhawan, Mitr Trust and many others.
